About Westlake University
Westlake University is a new type of high-quality research-oriented university based in the historic Chinese city of Hangzhou – a stunning city well-known throughout Asia for its long history, rich culture, and beautiful scenery. Our university was founded by prominent globally respected scientists and scholars. Westlake has four academic schools: the School of Life Sciences, the School of Science, the School of Engineering, and the School of Medicine. Each school features cutting-edge research facilities and extensive research opportunities in key provincial and municipal laboratories.
