Westlake University PhD Fellowship

Summary

Westlake University offers full financial support to Ph.D. students, covering tuition, living expenses, and insurance. Students receive a monthly stipend and have access to state-of-the-art laboratories and facilities to support their research and academic success. The scholarship is available to all admitted PhD students in our graduate programs. PhD students in our programs study full-time at our Hangzhou, China campus.

Value	Every admitted international PhD student in our programs receives a full tuition waiver and a monthly stipend for the duration of their studies.
Citizenship requirements	Open to non-Chinese citizens.

Orient Gene Scholarship

Orient Gene Scholarship was donated by Zhejiang Orient Gene Biotech Co., Ltd. to reward full-time outstanding PhD students in the field of Materials Science and Engineering who are diligent, innovative and have produced influential research results. The scholarship awards no more than five PhD students each year.

Mikrouna Scholarship

Mikrouna Scholarship was donated by Mikrouna Electromechanical Technology Co., Ltd. to reward full-time outstanding PhD students in the field of Electronic Science and Technology who are diligent, innovative and have produced influential research results. The scholarship awards three PhD students each year.

Muyuan Scholarship

Muyuan Scholarship was donated by Muyuan Group Company to reward full-time students who dare to innovate, have excellent academic and research achievements, and actively participate in the research projects of Westlake University-Muyuan Joint Research Institute. The scholarship awards no more than 50 students each year.

Apply

Applicants only need to submit an application to a Westlake PhD program. There is not a separate Westlake University PhD Fellowship application. Applicants must submit their applications to a PhD program before the admissions deadline.
